Kent
Klinge was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. After serving
two years with the United States Marine Corps, Kent enrolled at
Hanover College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
1964. He received his legal education at Indiana University School
of Law where he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1967. He was
a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. He came to Richmond
in May of 1968 and was employed as an associate with the firm of
Bowen, Cecere and O’Maley. He served as assistance city attorney
from 1968-1972. In 1979, he formed a partnership with the Honorable
P. Thomas Snow. That partnership lasted until Judge Snow was elected
in 1988. In 1989, Kent joined the firm of Reller, Mendenhall, Kleinknecht,
and Milligan and served as a partner in that firm until January,
1998, when he joined the current firm of Boston Bever Klinge Cross
& Chidester. Kent is a member of the Wayne County, Indiana State
and American Bar Associations; the Indiana Trial Lawyers of America,
and the Indiana Defense Lawyers Association. Kent also currently
serves as a member of the Indiana House of Delegates for the Indian
Bar Association. Kent’s primary areas of practice are Insurance
Defense; Civil Litigation; and Commercial Law. |
